The Military Sealift Command (MSC), through its N10 Contracts and Business Management Directorate, is seeking to charter one clean, USCG-approved, double-hull, ice-class tanker for extended term service. - Government Buyer: - Military Sealift Command (MSC) - N10 - Contracts and Business Management Directorate - Service Requested: - Fixed-price time charter of one ice-class tanker - Vessel must be USCG approved, double-hulled, equipped with Inert Gas System (IGS) and Segregated Ballast Tanks (SBTs) - Must be capable of carrying clean products: AN8, JP8, JP5, JA1, F76, and MUM - Cargo must be carried within vessel's natural segregation in designated cargo tanks with double valve isolation - Vessel must be U.S. Flag or foreign flag to be reflagged prior to delivery - Period of Performance: - One-year base period - Three one-year option periods - One 11-month option period - Notable Requirements: - Total Small Business Set-Aside - Delivery anticipated in the Mediterranean Sea - No specific OEMs or vessel manufacturers are named in the notice - No product part numbers or specific equipment brands are specified

This is a presolicitation notice (synopsis) for one clean, USCG approved, upon delivery U.S. Flag or foreign flag to be reflagged prior to delivery, double-hull, ice-class tanker with an Inert Gas System (IGS) and Segregated Ballast Tanks (SBTs) that is capable of carrying clean products (intentions AN8, JP8, JP5, JA1, F76, and MUM) within the vessel’s natural segregation in designated cargo tanks with double valve isolation.
