Description

The U.S Consulate General, Frankfurt provides the following Pre-Solicitation Notice regarding the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for:

Exterior Painting and Façade Repair at the U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt

 

The solicitation may result in the award of one (1) Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity Contract for one base year plus four (4) separate option years.

The U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt, Germany, has a requirement for exterior painting maintenance and façade repair services on historic and modern buildings across the Consulate compound and associated government housing.

The Statement of Work includes but is not limited to:

Installation of scaffolding, mobile man-lifts, or swing stages for façade access Temporary protective coverings for façade and adjacent surfaces Inspection of plaster for damage, cracking, and delamination (including mechanical sounding) Inspection and repair/replacement of metal control/reveal joints, corner beads, and flashings Removal of loose, cracked, or damaged plaster; "V" cutting of cracks Pressure washing of façade surfaces, windows, and doors Plaster repair and curing (cement stucco and resin/EIFS systems) Paint mock-ups, primer application, and finish coating (base and topcoats) Backer rod and sealant installation/replacement at window and door frame joints Painting of miscellaneous ferrous metal façade elements Construction cleanup of work areas

Estimated yearly quantities include up to 60,000 sqm each of power washing, surface preparation, and exterior painting; 5,000 sqm each of cement stucco and resin plaster repair; 2,000 sqm of EIFS replacement; 2,000 linear meters of joint sealant replacement; and 50,000 sqm of scaffolding.

The Solicitation is planned to be issued in August 2026 and will be posted on SAM with solicitation number 19GE5026R0116.

The solicitation package will only be available in the English language. Solicitation and award will be subject to the federal procurement laws and regulations of the United States of America.

Firms shall be knowledgeable in written and spoken English and possess all appropriate permits, Insurances and licenses to perform work, operate and do business in Germany.
