The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) is seeking qualified non-profit organizations to implement or expand evidence-based Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs for adults with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) in communities and jails across Florida. - Government Buyer: - Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), Substance Abuse and Mental Health - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; this is a grant opportunity for service provision by non-profit behavioral health providers - Products/Services Requested: - Implementation Services: Establishment of new MAT programs, including acquisition of mobile units, clinical tools, technology for health records, recruitment and training, and program design consultancies - Expansion Services: Expansion of existing MAT programs, including mobile unit deployment, FDA-approved medications (e.g., buprenorphine), clinical screening and treatment tools, peer support, telehealth, and collaboration with law enforcement and community organizations - Service delivery includes outreach, assessment, individualized treatment planning, overdose prevention, and data reporting - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Applicants must be non-profit behavioral health providers, licensed for MAT services in Florida, and either under contract with a Managing Entity or in the process of obtaining one - Programs must use evidence-based practices and FDA-approved medications for OUD - Strict confidentiality, data collection, and reporting standards are required - Sustainability planning and quality assurance are emphasized, with performance measures and financial consequences for underperformance - No matching funds required, but leveraging other funding sources is encouraged

The Department of Children and Families (DCF) is seeking applications from eligible entities capable of delivering evidence-based Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs throughout Florida. The goal is to use best and promising practices to treat individuals with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD), aiming to strengthen recovery, reduce relapse and recidivism, and ensure continuity of care. The solicitation targets adults 18 years or older diagnosed with moderate or severe OUD. Applicants must be non-profit organizations licensed to provide MAT services and are encouraged to leverage other funding sources.
