Description

This project involves removing and replacing 4-inch and 6-inch thick Portland Cement Concrete (P.C.C.) sidewalks and ADA curb ramps in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG). The work includes removal and replacement of existing sidewalks, driveways, and curb ramps, installation of detectable warning tiles at ADA curb ramps, removal and replacement of sidewalk curbs, P.C.C. curbs, and gutters, as well as reshaping disturbed areas with topsoil, fertilizing, sodding, and watering. The contractor must commence work on or after August 17, 2026, and complete all work by November 20, 2026, with liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day for delays past the completion date.
