Ontario Health is seeking a medical doctor specialist to serve as the Ontario Genitourinary (GU) Cancers Lead, providing strategic leadership for GU cancer care across the province. - Government Buyer: - Ontario Health, Cancer Care Integration and Disease Advisory Program - Products/Services Requested: - Professional services: Ontario Genitourinary (GU) Cancers Lead - Strategic leadership and expert advice for GU cancer care - Responsibilities include system planning, quality improvement, clinical engagement, clinical pathway development, clinical practice guidance, and support for drug reimbursement programs - 1 position required - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Candidate must be a licensed medical doctor in Ontario, in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) - Minimum 5 years of focused practice in genitourinary cancers - Demonstrated leadership experience at a hospital or university level - Recognized as an opinion leader in oncology - Anticipated time commitment is 0.5 days per week - Initial contract term is 2 years with an optional 1-year extension - No OEMs or commercial vendors are involved, as this is a professional services opportunity
