Description
The Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements (CITA) has determined that certain double weave polyester/spandex fabric is not available in commercial quantities in a timely manner in the CAFTA-DR countries. As a result, this fabric product is added to the list in Annex 3.25 of the CAFTA-DR in unrestricted quantities. The determination follows a request from VARSITY PRO LTDA DE C.V. and subsequent review including responses from Summitex Woven Textiles. The decision is based on the inability of any interested entity to demonstrate the capability to supply the fabric commercially within the CAFTA-DR region.
