Description
The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL) is soliciting applications for a rapid response mechanism to support Track 2.0 style peacebuilding convenings in conflict-affected regions of strategic importance to the United States. The program aims to provide flexible and timely support for convening civil society actors, activists, journalists, and other key stakeholders essential to advancing and sustaining peace processes in priority regions including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, Thailand, DRC, Rwanda, and other conflict-affected regions. The initiative seeks to facilitate dialogue and relationship-building among conflict-related stakeholders, support civil society contributions to peace processes, and provide rapid support for emerging peacebuilding opportunities. The funding instrument is a cooperative agreement with a project performance period of 18 to 24 months.
