The Coachella Valley Water District (Finance Department, Procurement Division) is seeking qualified firms to provide on-call pump repair services for District-owned pumps. - Scope of Work: - Comprehensive maintenance, inspection, repair, rehabilitation, testing, and related support for various pump types: - Centrifugal pumps - Progressive cavity pumps (PCP) - Vertical turbine pumps - Submersible pumps - Booster pumps (hydraulic and operational electrical) - Services include tear down, inspection, cleaning, sandblasting, seal and bearing replacement, balancing, shaft manufacturing, critical speed analysis, structural and frequency analysis, repair recommendations, machining, coating, winding and bake-out, laser alignment, dynamic balancing, functional testing, predictive maintenance, pump system upgrades, on-site repair, and pickup/delivery. - Services performed at contractor's facility within 300 miles of CVWD. - Labor (regular, emergency, predictive maintenance), pickup and delivery, and parts/materials are included. - Contract Structure: - Time and materials contract; no minimum guaranteed work. - Initial term of two years with three one-year renewal options. - Requirements: - Firms must have at least five years of relevant experience. - Specific California contractor licenses required. - Ability to respond to emergency repair needs. - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or manufacturers are named in the solicitation. - Prospective bidders may include firms such as Albert A. Description

The Coachella Valley Water District is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide on-call pump repair services on an as-needed basis. The contract does not guarantee a minimum amount of work. The selected contractor(s) will provide maintenance, inspection, repair, rehabilitation, testing, and related support services for District-owned pumps including centrifugal, progressive cavity, vertical turbine, submersible, and booster pumps.
