Description

This project involves traffic control, demolition of existing improvements within the right-of-way, grinding existing pavement, placement of asphalt concrete overlay, construction of Portland cement concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, ADA ramps, installation of detectable warning surfaces, adjustment of manhole frames or covers, removal and replacement of existing signage and striping, and other necessary appurtenances as described in the plans and specifications. The project requires a Class "A" Contractor's License and compliance with California Labor Code Section 1771.4 and federal labor standards. The City of Duarte will award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 30, 2026, and bids are due by August 6, 2026.
