The Department of the Air Force at Dover Air Force Base is seeking contractor services for a Director of Catholic Music Ministries and a music accompanist to support Catholic Masses and special services at the Dover AFB Chapel. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, Dover Air Force Base, Chapel - Services Requested: - Director of Catholic Music Ministries - Lead music direction, congregational singing, vocals, solos, and coordinate with chapel leadership - Responsible for rehearsals, performances, setup, teardown, and quarterly meetings - Music Accompanist - Provide accompaniment (piano, guitar, organ) for liturgist, choir, congregational singing, soloists, and special musicians - Performance Requirements: - Services required for two weekly Catholic Masses, rehearsals, and special services - 4.5 hours per week over 52 weeks, plus quarterly meetings and special services (up to 316 hours annually) - Must be proficient in piano and knowledgeable of Catholic Mass - Must pass background checks and work in a religiously pluralistic environment - Coordination with chapel leadership and management of volunteers required - No specific OEMs, vendors, products, or part numbers are mentioned - Emphasis on sensitivity to multiple faith groups and denominational traditions

Description

Dover AFB Chapel requires services for a Director of Catholic Music and music accompanist for all Sunday Masses and Special Services. 

The contractor must demonstrate an understanding of the religiously pluralistic and sensitive arena of numerous faith groups and denominational traditions.
