The California Department of General Services, Real Estate Services Division, Project Management and Development Branch is requesting Statements of Qualifications for professional environmental services related to the Vegetation Management Program (VMP) managed by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Office of Natural Resources Management. The scope includes development and publishing of VMP Plans (template, district plans, statewide plan), a new VMP Manual, and ONRM Communications Strategy and tools. The program focuses on vegetation management for wildfire ignition reduction, landscape health, and safety along state highways across all 58 counties in California. The contract duration is estimated to be five years.
