Description

This contract involves the removal and installation of various ground mounted cantilever and span sign structures, as well as bridge mounted span sign structures. It includes repair of sign structures, removal of sign lighting, replacement of overhead guide sign panels and roadway signs, clearing and grubbing, work zone traffic control, erosion control, and mill and overlay with guide rail replacement at miscellaneous locations. The contract term is 487 calendar days for maximum substantial completion. The contract offers an Enhanced Utilization Credit to incentivize the use of MWBE firms with limited prior contracting opportunities with the MTA.
