Description

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is initiating a two-step procurement process for three standalone design-build projects involving multiple buildings across Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens. The scope includes plumbing and waste infrastructure replacement, repairs to kitchens and bathrooms, replacement of steam energy systems with electric heat and hot water systems using heat pumps, electrical upgrades, flood mitigation strategies, elevator modernization at one site, and abatement of asbestos/lead/mod with temporary resident relocation. This RFQ is the first step inviting statements of qualification from entities interested in participating in the subsequent RFP for one or more projects. NYCHA expects to shortlist up to three teams per project who will be eligible for the RFP.
