BC Hydro requires specialized consulting services to support the Vancouver Island Transmission Reinforcement Project by developing industry best practices for the safe de-oiling and decommissioning of aging submarine cables affected by fatigue damage. The scope includes expert advice on cable removal from the seabed, decommissioning activities, and the installation of new AC cables within the same corridor.
