The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) is seeking advanced Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) printer solutions to enhance aviation maintenance capabilities at Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) and Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD). - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Contracting Command – Redstone Arsenal, Redstone Services and Information Technology Solutions Branch (CCAM-CAC-B) - AMCOM - Requested Products: - FDM Printer 1: Minimum build envelope 16 x 14 x 16 inches (Qty: 1) - FDM Printer 2: Minimum build envelope 36 x 24 x 36 inches (Qty: 2) - Ancillary equipment: Dryer cabinets for each printer, power line conditioner (900MC) - Consumables: ULTEM 9085 FDC spools for both printers - Software: GrabCAD Print Pro User License - Security: Printer 2 must have a STIG-compliant OS using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 - Services and Support: - Onsite installation and operator training for both printers - Operator training at OEM facility (three-day course for up to three personnel per location) - Preventative maintenance and repair for both printers (multi-year) - Warranty extensions for both printers (up to 4 years) - Shipping for all equipment - Unique Requirements: - Use of engineering-grade materials (e.g., ULTEM 9085) - STIG-compliant OS for Printer 2 (RHEL 8) - Pre-purchased store credit for consumables held by OEM - Extensive support, training, and sustainment services - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; solution must meet detailed technical and operational requirements outlined in the attachments.

This Call for Solution is issued under the Army Open Solicitation W9128Z-25-S-A002.

The Army Contracting Command – Redstone Arsenal, on behalf of the office of the US Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), is seeking innovative solutions for Advanced Manufacturing Components and OIB Technology Insertion.

The U.S. Army has a need for accelerated modernization of weapon systems through Advanced Manufacturing (AdvM) technologies that directly address supply chain challenges to underpin readiness. In Accordance With (IAW) Army Regulation (AR) 750-1 (Army Materiel Maintenance Policy), Commanders, U.S. Army Organic Industrial Base (OIB) activities will develop additive and advanced capabilities consistent with Army Materiel Command (AMC) guidance to produce Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) quality parts for use to meet obsolescence and other readiness requirements as required.

The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) require immediate integration of AdvM FDM capability at Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) with an option for AdvM FDM capability at Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) to address critical readiness gaps in aviation maintenance operations. The integration of AdvM FDM print technology will enable CCAD to rapidly fabricate qualified parts, tools, jigs, fixtures, and ground support equipment.
