DLA Maritime - Puget Sound is seeking to procure reciprocating saw blades for use at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. - Government Buyer: - Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime - Puget Sound, Bremerton, WA - Products/Services Requested: - Reciprocating saw blades, NSN LLS050076 - 3/4" wide, 0.050" thick, hardened edge, shatterproof, all-purpose - Bi-metal construction with matrix 2-type alloy high-speed steel cutting edge (8% cobalt) - Tooth hardness Rc 66-68, backer hardness Rc 44-50 - Modified raker tooth set, variable pitch (10/14 teeth per inch) - Quantity: 1 (as specified in the attachment) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the solicitation is open to any manufacturer meeting the technical specifications - Notable Requirements: - Vendors must provide specification sheets and part numbers for each item quoted - Compliance with NIST SP 800-171 is required unless the item is Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS), which are exempt - Small business set-aside - Delivery to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard - Technical specifications are detailed and require bi-metal construction and specific hardness ratings

SOLICITATION FOR COMMERICAL ITEMS

DLA MARITIME PUGET SOUND intends to procure, RECIPROCATING SAW BLADE, manufactured in accordance with material specifications and to be provided and delivered in accordance with all attached document(s) here within. The solicitation will be issued as; 100% TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE using commercial and simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5.

The resultant award will be a firm fixed-price supply contract for FOB Destination delivery to:

Offers wishing to submit a quote are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments.  

Only fully completed quotes submitted with completed and signed solicitation will be considered. Any offer, modification, revision, or  withdrawal of an offer received after the time specified for receipt of offers is considered late. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments and return the entire completed RFQ solicitation package prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.

In order to be considered for award, IF the contractor (awardee) is required to implement NIST SP 800-171, the contractor (awardee) shall have a current assessment as detailed in DFARS 252.204-7019 {I.E., not more than 3 years old unless a lesser time is specified in the solicitation)

Items deemed to be Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) are exempt from NIST SP 800-171 requirement. Must identify and provide information to contracting officer on bid during solicitation period
