Repair of the B-1B AN/ALQ-161A Enhanced Pre-Processor Avionics Control Unit (PACU) Replacement Computer (EPRC) Line Replaceable Unit (LRU)
The Department of the Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), hereby issues Solicitation FA852226R0009 for the repair of the Enhanced Pre-Processor Avionics Control Unit (PACU) Replacement Computer (EPRC) Line Replaceable Unit (LRU). This requirement encompasses both the legacy configuration (NSN: 5865-01-562-6911, Part Number 293A770-1) and the DSU upgraded configuration (NSN: 5865-01-708-9287, Part Number 353A100-1), which are critical computing components of the AN/ALQ-161A Electronic Warfare (EW) defensive avionics suite on the B-1B aircraft. This system detects, identifies, and applies radio frequency (RF) jamming to counter radar threats in various frequency ranges, displaying priority threat signals and situational awareness to the aircrew. FAR Part 15 Procedures will be utilized to execute this acquisition.

Please note that no hard copies of the solicitation will be issued. Under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) (as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements"), this acquisition is restricted to Lockheed Martin Corporation. Foreign participation at the prime contractor level is strictly prohibited.
While this solicitation is restricted to the approved source, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Any interested parties must submit their proposal or capability statement within thirty (30) days from the publication date of this posting to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
