Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source purchase order to Spryson America, Inc. for the Neuro Otologic Test Center (NOTC) Pro+ Chair, an advanced vestibular and neurological diagnostic and rehabilitation system, for use at Durham VA Medical Center, 508 Fulton St., Durham, NC 27705. The NOTC Pro+ Chair is the industry s most comprehensive platform for advanced vestibular, oculomotor, and neurofunctional assessment and rehabilitation in a single unit. It uniquely enables testing of all six semicircular canals (LARP, RALP, and horizontal planes) with unmatched precision, incorporates over 40 standardized protocols supporting both diagnostic and therapeutic transitions, and provides functional, high-frequency testing across all relevant vestibular pathways. Key technological differentiators include missile-grade, high-torque 6-degree-of-freedom (6DOF) motion control; integrated VR goggles with proprietary I-Portal® eye tracking (horizontal, vertical, and torsional); robust full-body stabilization; fiber-optic slip-ring for real-time data; and full integration with proprietary cloud-based analysis and HIPAA-compliant data management. The system is designed for rapid workflow, patient and pediatric safety, and effortless use with vestibular-impaired populations. The period of performance will be one year from date of award. The justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 12.102, soliciting from a single source, due to the specialized nature of the equipment and compatibility requirements with existing clinical infrastructure. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can meet this requirement and possesses relevant experience and technical capability may submit a written response, including evidence sufficient to demonstrate their ability to supply the required system with all salient features described above. Responses received by 10:00 am EST on July 15, 2026, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
