Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source purchase order to Horizon Production Inc. at the Durham VA Medical Center in Durham, NC as part of a Research and Development educational videos in service to the Integrative Mental Health Office. The research will be in close collaboration with Integrative Mental Health staff, the objectives are to: 1) Film, edit, and produce 7 professional quality one-hour videos to complement the existing MHICS video offerings, making use of existing content (e.g., introductory logos/music; discussion question format) so as to seamlessly integrate new videos into the overall MHICS training program. 2) Arrange for consultants to provide filmed educational content as well as input and feedback around issues relating to the integration of chaplains with mental health services in both VA and the broader communities in which Veterans, Service members, and their families receive care. 3) Coordinate travel arrangements for non-federal consultants (and film crew if necessary) and manage invoice processing and payment for non-federal consultants and related personnel issues. 4) Deliver high definition, edited, and produced final products in formats needed to suit Integrative Mental Health needs, including online, on hard drive(s), and via DVD. Additionally, deliver raw filmed material on an external hard drive for the Durham VAMC, located in Durham, North Carolina 27705.
Period of performance will be base 4+ option year of service. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 12.102 soliciting from a single source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can meet these requirements and possesses relevant past-experience and expertise may give written notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
