The U.S. Embassy London, under the U.S. Department of State, is seeking a contractor to provide annual preventive maintenance services for its medium voltage (MV) breaker system. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy London, Electrical Engineer (Contracting Officer Representative: David Taylor) - OEM Highlight: - Eaton is the specified Original Equipment Manufacturer for the MV-VCP-W circuit breakers - Products/Services Requested: - Preventive maintenance for ten Eaton MV-VCP-W medium voltage circuit breakers - Includes inspection, adjustment, cleaning, lubrication, secondary injection testing, and controlled opening of each breaker - All work must follow the latest Eaton manufacturer instructions - Contractor must provide all qualified technicians, tools, consumables, and safety equipment - Repairs and parts replacement are excluded from this contract and handled separately - Quantities and Part Numbers: - 10 Eaton MV-VCP-W circuit breakers (Part Number: Eaton VCP-W) - 1 annual comprehensive preventive maintenance service (Part Number: 001) - Notable Requirements: - Annual service with a one-year base period and up to four one-year option periods - Emergency and standard callout services with specified response times included - Firm-fixed price contract; payment after completion of services

Description

The U.S. Embassy London requires preventive maintenance services for the  MV breaker system which consists of 10 (ten) Eaton MV-VCP-W circuit breakers situated within 33 Nine Elms Lane, London, SW11 7US as per the attached Statement of Work. Maintenance shall be in line with the latest manufacturer's instructions. Following the service the contractor must prove the operation of the breakers by carrying out secondary injection testing and controlled opening of each breaker. 

The Contractor shall provide all necessary managerial, administrative and direct labor personnel, and as well as all necessary transportation, equipment, tools, repair parts, supplies and materials required to perform the work. An award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible Contractor. The Government may award a Purchase Order / Contract based on an initial offer without discussion. Any awards made are firm fixed price type agreements and payments for services will be made after the services based on quantities and unit prices only to the extent specifically provided in the contract. Contractors should submit invoices for payment after full completion of the services. Payment is made by electronic funds transfer to contractor’s bank account.
