The Pasadena Area Community College District is seeking turnkey general contractor services to implement large-scale sustainability infrastructure across its campuses. - Government Buyer: - Pasadena Area Community College District, Purchasing and Contract Services - Scope of Work: - Design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and closeout for: - Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure - 113 new EV chargers in Phase 1 (88 Level 2, 15 public DC Fast Chargers, 10 fleet DC Fast Chargers) - Replacement of 12 existing Level 2 EVSE units - Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems - Over 1,200 kW DC in Phase 1; total project capacity approximately 3,700 kW DC - Systems mounted on parking canopies and carports - Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) - 2,100 kW / 3,000 kWh in Phase 1; total project capacity up to 950 kW / 1,900 kWh per system - Requirements: - Contractors must hold valid California licenses (C-10, B, C-46, A, C-7, or C-16) - Compliance with California codes, prevailing wage laws, and cybersecurity standards for EV chargers - Utility coordination, permitting, stakeholder engagement, and training included - Open to qualified entities under California statewide or cooperative Master Services Agreements (e.g., FoundationCCC, SPURR, CMAS) - Cooperative bidding and piggybacking allowed - Mandatory pre-bid meeting - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; opportunity is open to all qualified providers - Project is phased, with design and construction extending through multiple years
