SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital is seeking vendors for a one-time purchase of Med Cabinets, with BD Carefusion identified as the primary OEM. - Government Buyer: - State University of New York (SUNY), Stony Brook University Hospital - OEMs and Vendors: - BD Carefusion (OEM) - Vendors offering equivalent Med Cabinets are encouraged to respond - Products/Services Requested: - Med Cabinets (BD Carefusion or clinical equivalents) - Must meet clinical performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) - Equivalency must be demonstrated with supporting clinical documentation - Vendors must provide, at no cost, equipment and documentation for examination, demonstration, and trial if requested - Vendors must be authorized by the OEM or provide approved equivalents - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Purchase is through a consortium-awarded contract (Premier GPO PPPH28CFS01) - Vendors must comply with New York State Finance Law §139 j&k (Lobbying Law), restricting contact to the designated purchasing officer - Successful contractor must submit valid and current NYS Workman’s Compensation and Disability Forms - All supporting materials for demonstration and trial must be provided free of charge

Stony Brook University Hospital intends to purchase Med Cabinets from a contract awarded by a consortium (GPO) pursuant to its authority under section 163(3)(vi), which authorizes the purchase of commodities from a consortium or comparable entity without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors selling equivalent Med cabinets to BD Carefusion may contact the purchasing officer to demonstrate equivalency by meeting clinical performance and KPIs. Vendors offering clinical equivalents must provide free supporting clinical documentation and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial. This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k (Lobbying Law), and only the designated contact may be approached regarding this solicitation.
