• Scope of work includes:
  • Tear-off and installation of new foam roofing systems (ASTM C-1029-02 compliant)
  • Installation of polyisocyanurate insulation boards (ASTM C1289, Type II, Class 1, Grade 2)
  • Application of Title 24 compliant roof coatings with ceramic granules
  • Perimeter sealing with acrylic mastic and reinforcement
  • New flashings for chiller lines (Math Building)
  • Rooftop building identification lettering using acrylic coatings and stencils
• Environmental requirements:
  • Adherence to asbestos and lead abatement protocols (lead-based paint removal required on rooftop pipes in select buildings)
  • No asbestos detected in surveyed areas
• Contractor requirements:
  • Valid California C-39 Contractor’s license
  • DIR registration and compliance with prevailing wage laws
  • Demonstrated experience with large-scale foam roofing projects (at least five projects of 50,000 sq ft or larger, three older than 5 years)
  • 2-year leak-free warranty on repairs
• Notable OEM:
  • Henry Company (existing foam roofing manufacturer; new products must meet or exceed Henry Company specifications)
