The University of Waterloo is seeking subcontracted radiocarbon analysis services as it does not operate an accelerated mass spectrometer (AMS). The analysis must provide radiocarbon results within ±20–25 years for samples younger than 5,000 years, with a turnaround time within 4 weeks. Samples as low as 0.5 mL of CO2 in 6 mm quartz breakseals will be analyzed, and δ13C results will be provided for marine reservoir calibration. The estimated cost is approximately $300 USD per sample, and the contract duration is 36 months starting from September 1, 2026.
