Description
The Port of Newport is requesting competitive quotations for hydraulic maintenance dredging at the NOAA Marine Operations Center - Pacific Facility. The work includes dredging a maximum of 18,000 cubic yards of loose sandy/silt material to design depths on the north side of the facility wharf, covering an area approximately 50 feet wide by 800 feet long, including berths 1 through 3. The contractor must provide a per cubic yard quote for dredging and costs for delivering and offloading dredge spoils to the upland disposal area, including preparation and maintenance of the disposal site. The schedule for work starts with permit issuance and in-water work beginning November 1, 2026, with completion by February 1, 2027, subject to permit approval.
