Description

1. The solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract with Order of Mangitude of Between $500,000.000 or Less.  2. The performance period is 400 calendar days, whereby a commencement time of 30 calendar days is included. 3. The solicitation will be posted on or about 27 July 2026 with an anticipated bid opening date of approximately 27 August 2026. Paper copies will not be available 4. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the RCO Bavaria. 5. Work will be performed in Germany. Contractor must comply with German law and must have authorization to do business in Germany.

Repair Transformer Station 9, Range 301, USAG Bavaria, GrafenwoehrTraining Area

Description of Requirement:  

1.4.1 This project specifies the following work:

The construction project is located within the Grafenwöhr military training area.

- Dismantling of the existing medium-voltage and low-voltage built-in devices in

the old transformer station 9, Range 301, consisting of:

1 existing 100 kVA oil transformer,

1 existing medium-voltage switchgear consisting of 3 MV cells,

1 existing low-voltage switchgear, approx. LxHxD = 0.6 m x 2.0 m x 0.6,

1 antenna system (reinstallation in new transformer station),

Dismantle all existing medium-voltage cables and low-voltage cables or transfer

them to

the new station.

Dismantle all ceiling lights and switches.

Dismantle all existing metal structures.

- Demolition of the existing transformer building, LxHxD = 3.15 m x 3,2 m x 2.75 m,

building # 30141.

- Construction of a new transformer building with cable cellar and pent roof,

roof pitch 7 degrees.

Building dimensions: approx. 4.2 m x 3.3 m, clear height 2.60 m.

Dimensions of reinforced concrete cable cellar approx. 0.8 m high.

- Installation of a 24 kV medium-voltage switchgear consisting of:

1 x 24 kV transformer switch panel

2 x 24 kV fused cable outlet

1 x 24 kV reserve panel

1 x 24 kV high-voltage/voltage transformer panel

1 separate 24 kV earth terminal in the transformer room

1 20 kV oil transformer 100 kVA with DGPT2 full transformer protection

- Installation of a low-voltage switchgear consisting of:

1 circuit breaker 160 A

1 busbar system 400 A

5 fuse switch disconnectors 63 A

1 energy multimeter with LED display,

- Transfer of all medium-voltage and low-voltage cables from the old

transformer station 9 to the new transformer station 9.

- Creation of a walkable gravel surface for the new transformer station.
