Description
The U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, has announced the postponement of preliminary determinations in the less-than-fair-value investigations concerning certain fatty acids from Indonesia and Malaysia. The investigations were initiated on March 9, 2026, with preliminary determinations originally due by July 27, 2026. The petitioner, Vantage Specialty Chemicals, Inc., requested a postponement to allow Commerce to fully evaluate questionnaire responses and consider any deficiency comments. Consequently, the preliminary determinations deadline is extended to no later than September 15, 2026, with final determinations due 75 days thereafter unless postponed further.
