Description

This solicitation is for the procurement of commercial cold water meters including turbine Class I and Class II, fire service, detector check, and single jet types. The meters must be constructed according to the latest American Water Works Association (AWWA) standards, with main castings made of bronze, fabricated steel, or cast iron with corrosion-resistant coating. Meters should have tapped bosses for field testing and be compatible with Hersey and/or Metron-Frainer systems. The City of Richmond reserves the right to reject any bids not conforming to specifications, and all bids must include all costs, including freight, with delivery FOB destination.
