The City of Kingsland, Georgia is seeking qualified contractors to rehabilitate four sanitary sewer manholes at designated lift stations. - Government Buyer: - City of Kingsland, Georgia (Finance Department, Purchasing Division) - OEMs and Vendors: - SpectraShield® - OBIC - Alternate OEMs may be considered if approved by the City - Products/Services Requested: - Rehabilitation of four sanitary sewer manholes using approved lining systems - Locations: Haddock Road Lift Station, Ford Manhole #1, Ford Manhole #2, May Creek Lift Station - Each manhole is a separate line item - Contractors must provide all materials, labor, equipment, traffic control, confined space entry, by-pass pumping, water intrusion management, bench/invert repair, and cleaning prior to coating - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Only SpectraShield®, OBIC, or other City-approved manhole lining systems are permitted - Contractors proposing alternate systems must submit product information for City approval before proposal submission - Compliance with OSHA regulations is mandatory - Local vendor preference applies if bids are within 10% of the lowest non-local bid - Contractors are encouraged to visit each site and must verify all dimensions and conditions - The City will minimize, but not completely shut down, wastewater flow during construction - Required documentation includes insurance certificates, signed W-9, E-Verify affidavit, and acknowledgment of addenda

Description

The City of Kingsland is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to rehabilitate four sanitary sewer manholes using the SpectraShield® system, OBIC lining system, or another City-approved manhole rehabilitation system. Contractors proposing an alternate rehabilitation system must submit product information to the Public Works Department for review and approval at least fourteen calendar days prior to the proposal opening. The scope includes materials, labor, equipment, traffic control, confined space entry, by-pass pumping, water intrusion, bench/invert repair, and cleaning prior to coating application. The project is open for proposals with a submission deadline of August 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
