Description
The project involves reconstructing Johnson Avenue and associated utilities from Rome Street to Barnes Avenue and on Barnes Avenue from Johnson Avenue north approximately 250 feet. It includes installation of new storm sewer piping and drainage structures, sanitary sewer main piping and manholes, water mains, and reconnecting sanitary sewer and water services. The work also covers utility relocations, demolition, milling and overlay of roads, new pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalks, retaining wall installation, re-striping, re-signing, traffic control, erosion control, and permanent stabilization. The contractor must coordinate utility relocations and lane/road/parking lot closures with the City Engineer and maintain communication throughout construction.
