The Government of Alberta is seeking proposals for a Mature Asset Reservoir and Closure Capability Study to evaluate the economic capacity of mature oil and gas assets to meet closure obligations under current fiscal and regulatory conditions. The study will provide a province-wide, evidence-based assessment using scenario-based economic analysis to support future policy development. The contract duration is approximately 9 months, starting from September 28, 2026. Interested proponents must sign and submit a Non-Disclosure Agreement to receive RFP documents electronically.
