The Indian Health Service's Monacan Service Unit is seeking a contractor for biomedical inspections and preventative maintenance of medical and dental equipment at the Monacan Health Center in Madison Heights, VA. - Government Buyer: - Indian Health Service, Monacan Service Unit, Nashville Area Office - OEMs and Vendors: - MidMark - Welch Allyn - KAVO - Abbott - Siemens - Products/Services Requested: - Annual preventative maintenance and calibration for medical and dental equipment - Includes exam tables, pulse oximeters, scales, refrigerators, centrifuge, analyzers, vitals machines, AEDs, vaccine refrigerators, dental exam chairs, x-ray units, dental handpieces, and related equipment - Services include cleaning, lubrication, minor repairs, electrical safety tests, corrective maintenance, onsite repair within 72 hours, technical assistance, software updates, and detailed reporting - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with OEM specifications - Adherence to ANSI/AAMI EQ89:2015, NFPA 99, and Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care standards - Onsite repair response within 72 hours - Detailed maintenance and inspection reporting - Period of Performance: - 12-month base period with four 12-month option years (up to five years total) - Work hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM ET, excluding federal holidays

Description

The primary objective of this action is to procure "as-needed " biomedical inspection services and preventative maintenance for the newly built Monacan Health Center's medical equipment to ensure that it is functional, safe and effective for its intended use. Routine maintenance and calibration services are required on an annual basis in compliance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications, ANSI (American National Stand ard s Institute) / Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (MMI) EQ89:2015 standards, and the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Required maintenance checks include but are not limited to performing visual inspections, test and calibration procedures, and performing electrical safety tests. The Contractor shall meet or exceed the manufactory specification requirements, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA0 99, and Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care (FAC.250.10-40).
