The National Park Service (NPS), San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, is seeking a contractor for comprehensive tree maintenance, installation, and irrigation services at Aquatic Park in San Francisco. - Government Buyer: - National Park Service (NPS), San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park (SAFR), Aquatic Park - Contracting Operations - West - Scope of Work: - Tree pruning: 12 Cordyline Australis (Dracaena Palm) trees - Tree removal: 12 Arbutus trees (24" DBH) and 13 stumps - Tree planting: 13 Magnolia grandiflora 'Little Gem' (24" box) with stakes and root barriers - Irrigation system installation: 375 linear feet of new subsurface/surface line using trenchless pneumatic boring - Additional services: irrigation technician, pedestrian traffic control, crane/rigging support, utility locating (GPR), hauling/disposal, site restoration - Supply of irrigation components (valves, emitters, HDPE pipe, fittings) - Key Requirements: - Contractor must have ISA Arborist certification - California contractor licenses required: C-49 (tree work), A or C-27 (irrigation) - Strict safety, preservation, and site restoration standards - NPS approval required for tree stock prior to planting - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are named; Magnolia 'Little Gem' is the specified tree variety - All work must comply with the detailed Statement of Work and NPS contract provisions
