The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 8 Sunshine Network is seeking information and potential solutions for a Brand Name or Equal (BNE) PAR Excellence Weight Based Inventory Management System (WBIMS) to be deployed across multiple VA Medical Centers in Florida, Puerto Rico, and Georgia. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 8 Sunshine Network - Technology Acquisition Center and VA Program Manager/Contracting Officers Representative - OEM Highlight: - PAR Excellence is the referenced OEM for the weight-based inventory management system - Products/Services Requested: - Complete WBIMS solution including bins, scales, accessories, hardware, software, and all necessary parts - Installation services for all system components, including removal of old equipment and setup - Training for end users, super users, supervisors, and leadership, with train-the-trainer materials and recordkeeping - Hotline support and performance monitoring (staffed support hotline, proactive technical support) - Project management services (project plan, kickoff, monthly reports, coordination) - Notable Requirements: - System must provide real-time inventory tracking and integrate with the VA's Generic Inventory Package (GIP) - Compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards is required - Solution must be installed at multiple VA Medical Centers and secondary inventory locations - Vendors may propose alternative solutions that meet or exceed the stated functional and performance objectives - Period of Performance: - 12-month base period with two 12-month option periods
