DLA Maritime - Puget Sound is seeking bids for a large quantity of specialized electrical cable for delivery to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. - Government Buyer: - Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime - Puget Sound Contracting Division, Contracting Division (DLA-PME) - OEM Highlight: - Southwire is specified as the manufacturer for the required cable - Products Requested: - 10,000 feet of 10AWG stranded 3-conductor electrical cable - Part number: 55809706 - Black jacket, copper, 600V, 90°C rated - Must comply with UL62, UL1581, and NEC ART-400 standards - Minimum 250 feet per reel - Notable Requirements: - Cable must be manufactured by Southwire (no substitutes specified) - Delivery to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA - Set aside for small businesses, including HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, and EDWOSB - Firm fixed price contract - Compliance with inspection and electronic invoicing requirements - NIST SP 800-171 compliance required for non-COTS items unless identified as COTS

To be considered for award, if the contractor (awardee) is required to implement NIST SP 800-171, the contractor (awardee) shall have a current assessment as detailed in DFARS 252.204-7019 (I.E., not more than 3 years old unless a lesser time is specified in the solicitation)

Items deemed to be Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) are exempt from NIST SP 800-171 requirement.  Must identify and provide information to contracting officer on bid during solicitation period
