Description

The City of Houston’s Housing and Community Development Department (HCD) is seeking applications from qualified nonprofit organizations to provide public services programs to Houston residents. These services include transportation, healthcare, medical education, housing and/or rehousing, mental health, case management, homeless services, legal, housing counseling, employment, substance abuse, job training and education, workforce development, and childcare services. All projects must serve those experiencing homelessness, those at risk for homelessness, or those living with Intellectual Disability Disorders (IDD). The project is supported by approximately $10,300,000.00 in funding for a 24-month period from CDBG and other potential federal, state, and local sources. The term of the resulting agreement(s) will be for one year with an option for an additional one-year renewal at the discretion of HCDD.
