Description

This Request for Tender is issued by the Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) seeking tenders from qualified Respondents to supply and install two Steam Boilers at Victoria Regional Laundry, Victoria, BC. The project includes upgrading the heating boiler system at Victoria General Hospital, including installation of two new 1,250,000 BTU/HR Bryan Boilers Model Bfit-1250B high-efficiency hot water boilers or acceptable equivalent, inline circulation pumps, and a revised hydronic heating water supply/return loop. The scope involves modifications to gas piping, venting/flue systems, and integration with existing infrastructure such as unit heaters, air handling units, heat recovery systems, and glycol systems. Electrical connections are out of scope and will be completed by others. After installation, the system will undergo commissioning to verify performance, safety, and operational readiness, with final handover including documentation, training, and confirmation of full functionality and compliance.
