Description

This project involves furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and incidental work to complete traffic signal, fiber optic communication, ITS, and ADA ramp improvements along Pioneer Boulevard from 166th Street to Lakeland Road. The work includes installation of conduit, pull boxes, pedestrian signal heads, accessible pedestrian signals and push buttons, traffic signal poles and cabinets, advanced transportation controllers, battery backup systems, video detection systems, safety lighting, street name signs, fiber optic cable and splicing, wireless radios, and Ethernet switches. The contractor is responsible for full installation, configuration, integration, testing, and commissioning according to manufacturer specifications and project plans. The estimated cost of the project is approximately $3,200,000.
