The City of Franklin, Tennessee is seeking bids for the Del Rio Pike Roadway Widening & Culvert Improvement project, managed by the Engineering Department and Purchasing Office. - Government Buyer: - City of Franklin, Tennessee (Engineering Department and Purchasing Office) - Project Scope: - Roadway widening and culvert improvements on Del Rio Pike in Franklin, Williamson County, TN - Includes clearing, grubbing, excavation, topsoil placement, sediment removal, and site stabilization (seeding, sodding) - Installation of concrete structures: sidewalks (2,682 S.F.), driveways (320 S.F.), curbs, gutters, retaining walls (520 & 634 units), parapet walls - Drainage improvements: 18" concrete pipe culverts (572 units), HDPE pipe slip lining (180 units of 60" minimum ID pipe for 72" pipe), catch basins, temporary drainage pipes - Erosion control: silt fences (1,321 units), filter socks, sediment filter bags, geotextiles, rock check dams, sandbags - Traffic control: signage, barricades, warning lights, pavement marking, mobilization - Asphalt paving: multiple grades of asphalt concrete mix (over 1,100 tons total) - Steel bar reinforcement (4,400 lbs) - OEMs and Vendors: - Snap-Tite (or equivalent) is specified for solid wall HDPE pipe culvert liners for slip lining; N12 HDPE pipe is not acceptable - No other specific OEMs are mandated for other materials - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Only solid wall HDPE pipe culvert liners meeting Appendix A specifications are acceptable for slip lining; Snap-Tite or equivalent permitted, N12 HDPE pipe not allowed - Compliance with the Iran Divestment Act, Non-Boycott of Israel certification, drug-free workplace affidavit, and bid bond required - Quantities for many items may be adjusted as directed by the engineer - Licensed contractors required; all necessary permits have been obtained - Products/Services Requested (selected): - Solid wall HDPE pipe culvert liner (Snap-Tite or equivalent), 180 units - 18" concrete pipe culvert (Class III), 572 units - Concrete sidewalk (4"), 2,682 S.F. - Concrete driveway, 320 S.F. - Retaining walls, 520 & 634 units - Asphalt concrete mix (various grades), over 1,100 tons - Steel bar reinforcement, 4,400 lbs - Traffic control, erosion control, and site stabilization services
