The City of Avondale is issuing a Request For Qualifications (RFQ) to select a qualified, licensed firm to provide consulting services for researching and drafting a comprehensive Safety Action Plan. The plan aims to improve safety for motor and electric vehicles, pedestrians, bicyclists, and electric bikes, including analysis of existing infrastructure and high crash locations. The project covers all arterial and collector streets and related intersections, with a focus on safety improvements around schools and policy development. The selected consultant will support the City in developing a plan aligned with federal SS4A requirements.
