The Ministry of Forests is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced Heavy Equipment operators for Wildfire Suppression Rehabilitation Services within the Stuart Nechako Natural Resource District for the 2023 Finger/Tatuk Lake wildfire G41307. The work includes road deactivation, land rehabilitation, restoring natural drainage, minimizing surface erosion and fuel hazards, stabilizing soils, stream restoration, grass seeding, and installing culverts. The proponent is expected to work closely with forestry professionals within the Ministry of Forests. The contract duration is estimated to be 3 months.
