Washington County Department of Environmental Management is seeking a contractor for the installation of new sludge feed pumps at the Conococheague Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in Hagerstown, Maryland. - Government Buyer: - Washington County Department of Environmental Management - OEM Highlight: - Moyno (Moyno 2000 Series Sludge Feed Pump, size 1H175) - Products/Services Requested: - Removal of two existing centrifuge in-line feed pumps (pumps 2 and 3) - Installation of two new Moyno 2000 Series pumps (size 1H175, soft nitrile stator, tungsten carbide coated rotor, cartridge mechanical seal) - Pumps are supplied by the County - Contractor to provide all other materials and labor - Piping modifications, electrical connections, mounting modifications, and water seals to mechanical seals - Mounting on carbon steel piggyback baseplate with belts, sheaves, belt guard, gearbox, and 15HP motor - Notable Requirements: - Contractor must make both pumps fully operational - County will install new Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) units and handle power reconnections - Project completion required within 60 consecutive calendar days after notice of award - Minimum 12-month warranty on installation and operation - No bond requirements - All pumps must be turned over to the County after removal
