Galveston County is seeking qualifications from experienced Certified Public Accountant firms to conduct an independent audit of the County's financial statements for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, with an option to extend for four additional fiscal years. The audit must comply with various professional and regulatory standards including Generally accepted auditing standards, U.S. Government Auditing Standards, and the Federal Single Audit Act. The scope includes auditing Galveston County and the related OMB-mandated Single Audit. The County is not obligated to reimburse expenses incurred in preparing responses.
