Description
The City of Rocky Mount is seeking a qualified fabricator to rebuild a 30-inch M&H check valve for the Tar River Reservoir Dam Raw Water Intake. The scope includes fabricating and machining various valve components such as the valve shaft, bronze body bushings, body seat ring, swing seat, gland bushings, and keys. The work also involves machining, reassembling, coating the valve, and delivering it to the Tar River Reservoir Water Treatment Plant. The fabricator must have experience with large-diameter check valves and be licensed for machining, fabrication, and coating work.
