Description

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for certain navigable waters of the North Atlantic Ocean at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. This safety zone is intended to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards associated with an over water fireworks display. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Virginia, or their designated representative. The safety zone will be enforced every Wednesday and Sunday night from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. between July 8, 2026, and September 6, 2026.
