Description

The Department of the Army is modifying and reissuing a current system of records titled Defense Casualty Information Processing System (DCIPS), A0600-8-1c AHRC DoD. This system collects and maintains records on the management of casualty and mortuary affairs across the Department of Defense. Updates include incorporation of DoD standard routine uses (A through J) and a new routine use (M) for sharing information with the Executive Office of the President to support families of service members. Additional sections are modified to improve clarity and reflect changes. Comments on the routine uses are accepted until August 10, 2026.
