NOAA, under the Department of Commerce, is conducting a review of the management plans for the Greater Farallones and Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuaries. - Seeks information and input from individuals, organizations, Tribes, and government agencies - No products, services, OEMs, or vendors are being solicited - Focus areas for input include: - Research and monitoring of coastal and deep sea habitats - Kelp restoration and sediment modeling - Deep sea habitat mapping and wildlife monitoring - Protection and restoration of habitats and wildlife - Public awareness, education, and sustainable use of sanctuary resources - Community engagement and partnerships - NOAA does not anticipate regulatory changes as part of this review - This is a request for information to inform future management planning, not a procurement opportunity

Description

NOAA is reviewing the management plans of the Greater Farallones and Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuaries to evaluate progress toward the sanctuaries' goals and to develop a unified management plan for both sanctuaries. The review process includes collecting information from individuals, organizations, Tribes, and government agencies on priority activities. NOAA will accept written comments and provide an opportunity for oral comments at a public meeting. Currently, NOAA does not anticipate proposing regulatory changes as part of this review.
