Description
History Colorado has completed an inventory of human remains in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory identified human remains of Native American ancestry with cultural affiliation to specific Indian Tribes. The notice details the potential repatriation of these remains to affiliated tribes or organizations. Repatriation may occur on or after August 10, 2026, and requests must be sent to the authorized representative at History Colorado.
