Description
The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Transportation, is initiating a multi-step competitive sealed proposal process for engineering and design services for the Lee Street Trail, a 2.75-mile multi-use trail connecting the West End MARTA Station to the Lakewood, Fort McPherson MARTA Station. The project includes roadway reconfiguration, an 8 to 12-foot multi-use trail, landscaped buffers, barriers, pedestrian lighting, intersection improvements, a HAWK signal, and wayfinding signage. The project aims to enhance pedestrian and bicycle connectivity and support access to transit, the Atlanta BeltLine, and future regional trail networks. It is federally and locally funded and must comply with the Brooks Act and all applicable federal and local requirements.
