This opportunity seeks a contractor to provide comprehensive potable water testing services for the George E. Wahlen Veterans Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 19, Salt Lake City VA Medical Center - Scope of Services: - Microbial, chemical, and water quality testing of potable water - Specific tests include: - Legionella (444 samples/year, quarterly) - Total coliform bacteria (36 tests/year, monthly) - Disinfection byproducts (TTHMs and HAA5, 8 tests/year, quarterly) - Lead and copper analysis (20 tests every three years) - PFAS and other water quality parameters as required - Emergency retesting (up to 50 tests/year) - Contractor must collect samples, provide bottles, ship to certified labs, and submit results to the Contracting Officer's Representative and Utah Division of Drinking Water - Reporting must comply with permit UT18173, including support for public notices - Unique Requirements: - All testing and reporting must meet regulatory standards and timelines - Contractor must support emergency retesting and regulatory reporting - No specific OEMs or brands are named; certified laboratory analysis is required - Set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBC)

Description

This is a solicitation for a Contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary to accomplish microbial, chemical, and water quality testing of potable water. Service will include testing for legionella, bacteria, disinfection-byproducts, lead & copper analysis, and other water quality testing as required (e.g. PFAS). Water samples will be collected at the George E Wahlen Veterans Medical Center by Contractor staff, in bottles provided by the Contractor, then delivered to the lab for testing. All test results will be prepared and emailed to the Contracting Officer s Representative (COR).
